Another solid CFB week for the boys in Week 10, finishing up over a unit and moving our season total to 26-23 for +2.722 units. We’re locked in on college football this year and the picture continues to get clearer every week. Sit back, relax, and watch the SEC cannibalize itself. Always remember to bet smarter, not harder.
Q’s Best Bets (After Week 10: 10-9 Overall, +2.152 Units Total)
Alabama @ Ole Miss/Missouri @ Tennessee
Pick: 2 Team Parlay: Alabama -2.5, Tennessee -13.5 (-110) (1 unit)
Revenge/bounce back game special for you this week. Both of these teams are coming off big losses and both know they have to blow teams out for the rest of the season to even have a prayer of making the playoffs.
Alabama finds itself in unfamiliar territory after dropping another game last week to LSU, moving them to 7-2 on the season. Some people are saying the Crimson Tide are starting to fall off… I doubt that. Both of their losses came at the end of close games by 3 points or less. Sounds more like simply playing in the SEC. Alabama runs a balanced offense that should cause problems for Ole Miss’ average defensive unit all game. I’m expecting a high scoring game in this matchup but even if it turns into a shootout I still like Bama to pull away late. If there’s one thing Nick Saban loves, it’s when Finebaum tries to call him washed up… Score Prediction: Alabama 34 – Ole Miss 24.
Tennessee got smoked by Georgia last week and that high flying offense will be fired up to bounce back at home against Missouri this weekend. Missouri has a solid defense but solid doesn’t exactly cut it against Hendon Hooker… Don’t let the Georgia game fool you, Tennessee is still a very good football team and still very much in the CFP conversation (crazier things have happened). It also helps that Mizzou’s offense is terrible… Back the Vols to bounce back at home in a big way on Saturday. Score Prediction: Tennessee 38 – Missouri 17.
UNC @ Wake Forest – Saturday, 11/12 (7:30 PM EST)
Pick: Sam Hartman TD Passes Over 2.5 (-115) (1 unit)
Love this prop from Sam Hartman this week. UNC is truly horrendous at defending the pass and this will be one of the better teams they’ve faced all season. Expect Hartman to come out slinging it at home after dropping two games in the last two weeks to Louisville and NC State. This game has the potential to be very high scoring with a heavy pass script for Hartman against an in state rival at home… Banking on the QB1 Beyond the Lights alum to give the people a show this weekend. TD Pass Projection: 3.5.
