Things have unravelled very quickly for Quentin’s squad. He weaseled his way to a 0.16 point victory in week 10, and that was just his first W since week 4. And now that I have stacked another W in week 11, Q has prevailed in only one single matchup over a seven week span. To add insult to injury, he needs to win four straight games now to take the regular season trophy. If past results are indicative of future results I would say he is absolutely boned.
Let us revisit the stakes at hand here. If Quentin is bad enough to lose both the regular season trophy AND the playoff trophy, he will be forced to eat a taco 12 pack in 30 minutes. If he can’t consume all 12 tacos in 30 mins or less? He has to buy me an NFL jersey of my choice. If I were a betting man (which I clearly am) I would put him at -400 to crush all 12 tacos in 30 minutes. I’ve seen Q crush several Hungry Bear challenges in his career (shout out Black Bear Diner (no free ads)) so I know he has it in him. But it shall be entertaining nonetheless.
Full scoring breakdown below, plus our usual ADD, DROP, HOLD suggestions. Let’s see if Q can make any of these last four matchups even remotely close.
Waiver Wire Advice:
ADD
Tony Jones Jr. – If you are desperate for a RB play, particularly if you have Kamara or Ingram, put in a waiver for Tony Jones Jr. The second year undrafted RB out of Notre Dame could be in line for a sizable workload with Kamara and Ingram both potentially out injured on a short week. Keep an eye on the injury reports but both are trending towards not playing.
DROP
Adrian Peterson – It was fun while it lasted AP. Cheers to an incredible career and single handedly winning me a fantasy championship many years ago. The Titans released him today so if you haven’t dropped him yet it is definitely time to drop the axe.
HOLD
D’Onta Foreman – His production has been disappointing given the opportunity with Henry going down, but now with Peterson out of the equation I see no other possible conclusion other than his stock going up. Tennessee has the Pats this week before their bye, but Foreman could be a viable starting option in the stretch run of fantasy regular season from weeks 14-17. Hold onto D’Onta.
