2024 Masters 4th Round Bets

Up and down Saturday but overall no harm, no foul. Rory left so much on the bone it’s sickening and we seemingly grossly over estimated which Zalatoris we’re getting this week… but we still stand +1.239 units on the week and our futures (all of which are still in play) are well within striking distance (Scottie, you’re the man). Always a good feeling when your overall favorite isn’t playing his best golf and still manages to have a 1 shot lead heading into Sunday. Let’s finish strong, bet smarter not harder.

4th Round Props

Parlay: Tiger Woods Over 72.5 Strokes/Max Homa Under 72.5 Strokes (+174) (0.5 units)

I’m done explaining why I’m fading Tiger… especially after today. Grit play, you get it.

I’ve gone back and forth on Homa this week more times than I’d like to admit. I don’t like to take parlays for golf in general but both of these plays feel automatic considering Tiger’s health and the number of birdie opportunities Homa gave himself on Saturday. There’s obviously the stigma behind Homa in majors but I honestly think he’s broken through that ceiling already this week. As long as Homa can keep creating birdie opportunities, eventually they’ll start falling. Holding off on any Homa outright winner additions but love him to at least put a decent round together on Sunday that shifts the narrative on how he performs in major championships. Probably my favorite player on tour right now, please show up tomorrow (possible champion I’d gladly lose money on).

Rory McIlroy Under 70.5 Strokes (+110) (0.5 units)

Call me crazy, but Rory should’ve shot in the sixties on Saturday… easily. Same logic from yesterday applies to the final round in my opinion (NPV is still positive for the nerds out there). Absolutely zero pressure on the guy heading into the final round, surely wants to save face, 2 under par is an absolute cake walk for the future hall of famer… At the very least get us paid Rory.

Lowest 4th Round Score – Rory McIlroy (+1400) (0.1 units)

Get. Us. Paid. Rory. Have a day man, come on now. Back to a dry well here but I don’t have to explain why.

Lowest 4th Round Score – Hideki Matsuyama (+2200) (0.1 units)

Feel like I’m beating my head against a wall with this one but I’ll hate myself if I miss out on some profitable Hideki garbage time play. This course simply fits him too well not to sprinkle on a big Sunday out of the former champ, especially after he got a taste of red numbers on Saturday. Perfect candidate to start your Sunday off with a bang (he’s popped off in garbage time rounds at majors before).
