Despite the absurd amount of wind on Friday we still managed to make it to the weekend +1.439 units overall and with every single future still in play (not to mention Scottie is tied for the lead after 36 holes). It sounds like the weather should clear up nicely for tomorrow so expect some low scores for moving day. Stock up the fridge, get the man cave in order and enjoy the best 48 hour period in golf. Bet smarter, not harder.

Tyrrell Hatton (-125) (1 unit) vs Tiger Woods (no ties)
Making a nasty habit out of fading Tiger, but I’m a man of statistics. While it’s been beautiful/nostalgic to watch Tiger scramble all over Augusta this week, his style of play right now is far from sustainable and his health is a ticking time bomb. It’s also reasonable to assume that he could take his foot off the gas a touch now that he’s broken the consecutive cuts record (likely his main goal/motivation this week) and he’s not really in contention whatsoever. Hatton had a rough day putting on Friday but otherwise he’s been picking up strokes on the field in every major category all week. To be clear, in no way am I saying Hatton is better than Tiger Woods. However, I am saying that it’s very likely he’ll be better than Tiger Woods tomorrow. At least this play is a little more palatable than the Patrick Reed matchup (which did cash I remind you…). Sorry GOAT, nothing personal.
3rd Round Props
Rory McIlroy – Under 70.5 Strokes (+115) (1 unit)
Now that Rory has firmly placed himself outside the realm of realistic contention, expect world class play from here on out. Augusta owns serious real estate inside Rory’s head but once the pressure is off he usually shows out in a big way. Don’t be surprised to see Rory make some noise on moving day, especially considering the favorable course conditions he’ll likely face. Who knows… maybe he throws that Top 10 future back into reality. He did shoot a 64 at Augusta in 2022 when he was considered completely down and out (tied for the lowest round ever at the course).
Will Zalatoris – Under 72.5 Strokes (-150) (0.6 units)/Under 71.5 Strokes (+115) (0.4 units)
Yep… Zalatoris’ round really got away from him on the back nine on Friday. What does that mean for us on Saturday? Very solid value on a guy that gained 3.43 strokes on the field on Thursday. Zalatoris has played 10 rounds at Augusta throughout his career. 8 of those rounds were 72 or better, 7 of those rounds were in red figures… He looks healthy, he flips a switch in majors and he’s coming off his worst round at the Masters ever. Happy to double down here and bank on a solid bounce back from Happy Gilmore’s former caddy.
